Dear Charlie,

I have been using a SmartCarry now for nearly a year with my G19 and 33 rounds of ammo. Your product is my concealment rig of choice when I am out with the family and expect to have kids and daring adults crawl over me. Most of the people I meet have no idea that I am carrying, which is testimony to the effectiveness of your holster's design. The holster has done everything it has promised to do, and is showing no sign of fatigue. Needless to say, I have holsters from other manufacturers for duty purposes, but the SmartCarry is the holster I value the most.

Hi Folks,

Just wanted to thank you for a surprisingly simple and effective product. I have to admit I had my doubts but was willing to try anything. I've spent lots of cash on various concealed carry products and holsters and I just couldn't feel comfortable or secure, assuming everyone knew I was carrying or having the weapon dig into my body. I've been wearing the smartcarry for 2 days and finally have something that works for me. It's just a bit binding behind the wheel of my car, but otherwise it's great....comfortable, easily accessible, and totally concealed.

Thank you for your innovation and dedication.

I just wanted to let you know how much I love my smartcarry! I am a 5 foot 3 inch, 110 pound woman and I carry a Bersa Thunderbolt .380. I could not for the life of me find a holster that worked-- they all stuck out too far, or were too bulky for my small frame, making them easy to see and hard to access. I had resorted to carrying my firearm in my purse, which is really inconvenient considering I could not put my purse down or leave it in my office when I went to meetings, etc. I was also very concerned that my purse would be stolen, or that in a struggle or emergency I would not be able to get to my purse. My new smartcarry is the perfect solution. My firearm is near me, I can actually look down and see it without anybody else being able to, and it fits underneath my clothes easily and comfortably. I love the security that it gives me being able to feel my firearm even though it is completely out of sight. Thank you for your excellent service, and an excellent product that provides me with a sense of confidence in my ability to protect myself and my family.

Charlie,

After talking with your wife yesterday and wearing the smartcarry again all day I can only tell you how impressed I am. I was so sure that i would be mailing this holster back to you because it wouldn't work. I find it to be comfortable with the Kimber Pro CDP and with my Glock 19. I walked right around everyone at work and not one person noticed and I was totally used to the wearing sensation of the smart carry in about an hour.

Still trying to find the right height when wearing the Kimber as the beavertail still sticks me when sitting down, but I'll work on it.

Thanks again for your patience with me,

Mr. Parrott,

It's been a week now since I received my SmartCarry for my G27. All I can say is, awesome. The day began with my finishing up framing my new porch we are adding on to my house. So, I'd been wearing a tool belt all afternoon long and going up and down ladders. We finished up and I went and checked the mail, and of course the holster was there. I went inside and read the paper work on it and then just tried it on for size and fitment of the 27. Well, my wife came home and my mom showed up to look at my finished construction project. It turned out that my mom was going to the Oklahoma State Fair with my younger sister that night to listen to a family friend's daughter sing. I don't like crowds and definetly didn't want to go, however my wife wanted to go and I don't like the girls out at functions like that without a male around. So does my dad so he called and said go to the fair with them for me. So what do I do, yep, that's right. What a great time to try out the SmartCarry. So I get dressed and head out the door. We get there and of course there are gobs of people walking around and so forth. So about half way through the evening my mom says thanks for coming and puts her arm around my waist. Her way of being casual to see if I'm carrying. She was suprised and looked at me and said I'd thought you'd be carrying. I said you never know. Time passes we go to the show to see this friend sing and my wife reaches around my waist and does the pat on the right hip. She goes wow I thought you would surely carry out here. So, we finish up at the fair, and head for the house at about 9:00 pm. We get home and mom leaves my wife comes up and give me one of those husband/wife grinding hugs. And I start laughing. She goes what is so funny. I said you can't tell can you? She goes tell what? I go you can't tell I'm carrying can you, she still doesn't believe my so I unzip my pants and pull the flap to the side. Needless to say she was quite impressed.

I just wanted to let you know that I think the holster is fantastic. I'm an athletic guy and don't have any fat on me. I was having problems with carrying in the 4:30 position on my hip because of it rubbing and I wound up with bursitis in my hip from carrying. The SmartCarry took care of that problem, and I can wear anything with it. Gym shorts, windpants, and most importantly I can wear scrub panst too. Mark me down as another super satisfied customer.

Thanks,

K. W. J. - Yukon, OK

Dear Mr. Parrott:

Once again, stellar service!

The new hip dimension of 40" is correct, and I am loath to see it increase again. The standard length strapping should be fine for now. Thanks for seeking verification.

I'm a professional boatbuilder and quite physically active. As I mentioned, I wear my SmartCarry everytime I leave the house, so it sees a fair bit of rough service. I can not imagine a more effective means of deep concealment (with drawability) than SmartCarry.

Thanks,

Charlie,

Thank you first of all for you patience and excellent customer service as I got the correct strap length for my holster. Secondly, you and your staff have surpassed yourselves yet again with an excellent product. I can't say enough about the workmanship, design and comfort of the Smart Carry. The strap length on the second holster was perfect and fit exactly as I wanted it to. The extra piece of Velcro wasn't necessary but I'm keeping for use in the future, if necessary.

Thanks again,

Charlie,

I've had the SmartCarry for about a week now and have tried it with every combination of clothing I wear carrying a Glock 23 and one extra magazine. It works wonderfully well. It is comfortable both standing, sitting, and kneeling. The gun is drawn easily, quickly and safely even with one hand. It is very concealed with only a slight print of the butt of the gun near my right pocket below the belt. I found that the darker colored clothing hide the weapon butt print even better but I have worn it with light clothing also and no-one notices.

Thanks for solving a huge problem of comfortable concealed carry in all types of weather and situations.

I'll be getting back to you soon when my wife gets her carry gun in the near future.

Mr Parrott and Company,

As a Texas Concealed Handgun License (CHL) holder, I have purchased and used many types of holsters and pistols. From inside the waistband to shoulder holster to fanny pack, I have used at least one of each major type of holster (inside the waistband, fanny pack, small of the back, belt, etc.). I purchased one of your Smart Carry Standard holsters in 2002, and have used it ever since. I went up 3 pant sizes and back down again, changed pistols and pant styles, yet the holster has worked the entire time. I have purchased several other holsters since, but the one I have to always be reliable is my Smart Carry. As much as I love my Galco belt holsters or my custom inside the pants holster by Milt Sparks’ excellent company, your Smart Carry has been the best carry option that is always concealable, yet always close to hand. It has held each of my concealed pistols, from a full size Glock 22 down to Kahr’s K40 Elite.

As a law student in Houston and now an attorney waiting for bar results in San Antonio, it is wonderful to have a holster that does not print my Glock to all concerned, whether in suits, jeans, or shorts. Even if someone does look closely at your holster, the viewer is impressed by something entirely than the fact that I carry, though I doubt my wife likes the fact that some scrutinize that particular area! Thank you for such a wonderful product. My hope now is to get my wife to get one for herself, as well as my family and friends.

Finally, I am glad to hear that y’all have weathered the recent hurricanes as of the date of this email. Thanks again.

Charlie--Thanks for getting my Smartcarry holster out so fast. I actually got it on tuesday, but have had Francis electric/phone problems that kept me from replying.

I have to say that your idea holds up to all the comments on your webpage. My Glock 27 just disappears for everyone but me. As I mentioned to you, I use a wheelchair. I was thinking maybe I had the wrong weapon, as I could not find a way to carry the Glock that didn't create more problems than solutions.

Smartcarry solved the problems. As other folks have said, I forget I'm wearing it. I'm keeping the Glock and the Holster. I don't think, that for the average person, there is a better way to carry a Glock. SmartCarry should be on the Glock website as a required assessory. I will be telling anyone that I know, who could use it, to get it.

Let's hope we all stay clear of Ivan. Keep your tiedowns tight this week.

Sincerely,

R. R. - Dade City, FL

I received my smart carry holster today, and boy am I impressed. I have been reading many articles on this method of carry the last few weeks so I thought I would give it a whirl.

I really didn’t think it would be possible to sit with a gun in the front of your pants, but you guys made it work and work comfortably. Thanks for a great product.

Charlie:

I had been carrying my S&W Model 649 in a medium SmartCarry, and I was very impressed with the concealment. It is hard to believe, but the small sized unit you sent me is even better!

The pistol is more invisible than with the medium sized rig I was using, plus it rides a little higher making it even easier to draw my revolver.

I am thoroughly impressed and satisfied with your product. During these warm days I seldom use my very expensive leather IWB holsters; your product significantly outperforms them for concealment purposes, and clothing options are much more varied.

Thanks!

M. P. - Buffalo, MN

Webmasters note: M. purchased a medium size for a Springfield XD40 in June of 2003 and just recently purchased a small size for his S&W j-frame. Like we say on the website, you can always carry a smaller gun in a larger holstr, but not the other way around! But it's always best to carry in the proper size SmartCarry® for your handgun.

Charley

I just received my Smart carry holster and am very pleased! I was a bit apprehensive while waiting for the holster to arrive, how could it be as comfortable and unobtrusive as claimed?

You are right, this thing is amazingly comfortable "No prints no tells". I am an outdoor sports photographer and wear shorts, T-shirt, and Birkenstock sandals year round out here in southern California. I will never be without this rig and my invisible (Glock) 36.

Subject: The clothes on my back and my Kahr in the SmartCarry...
Date: Thu, 19 Aug 2004 23:28:51 -0400

Charlie:

In early 2003 I purchased a SmartCarry holster from you to conceal my Kahr PM9 that I lawfully carry in my home state. A friend and I were canoeing down a river one weekend several months later when we flipped over in rain-swollen rapids. The lifejackets we were sitting on floated away with the canoe and all our gear. My friend managed to swim quickly to one side of the river; I was caught in the current and dragged swiftly downstream. Despite being an outstanding swimmer (former competitor in school; highest swim skill level in the Marine Corps; advanced SCUBA diver) I was barely able to remain afloat in the swift 60-degree swift water, fully clothed for the cool fall weather as I was. I was forced to shed my expensive fly rod and fly vest, and swim cross-current for all I was worth to the far side of the river.

It took all my previous swim training, experience, and the fortuitous branch of a small tree to reach the riverbank and haul myself onto the bank. The only things I had left were the clothes on my back and my Kahr PM9 with its extra magazine STILL SECURE in my SmartCarry holster. My only choice at that point was to walk alone out of the wilderness area in which I had become stranded and meet my friend's brother who would be waiting at dark at the prearranged takeout point some 15 miles downstream. To go back to my vehicle upstream was pointless as the keys were in a watertight bag downstream with the canoe. I managed to walk out of some extremely difficult terrain (the river cut through miles of a steep wooded canyon with no trails) and actually had to draw my carry weapon at one point in anticipation of warding off territorial dogs that came too close.

The SmartCarry served me extremely well in these very dire circumstances by securely retaining my firearm and extra magazine, staying out of my way when I needed it to, and making my carry weapon available when necessary. The gentleman who gave me a ride for the last 3 miles had no idea I was packing. I can attest to the secure nature of this holster and its durability - I still wear it today. I recommend it dry, but it is just as effective when wet!

Charles, received my SmartCarry and couldn't wait to try it. I could not believe how comfortable and easy to wear this thing is! I put it on with my Makarov and walked around the house to see if my wife would notice. Not a clue! Next was the "out in public" test. Same results there. It is so comfortable I almost forgot I was wearing it. Drawing my pistol is easy and smooth. No problems driving, or even riding my motorcycle. This is one fantastic product! Recommending one to all my friends who carry. Keep up the good work.

I purchased my smartcarry holster on february 16,2004. From day one I have be very satisfied with your product. I am able to carry everyday, with any type of clothing.

My wife and myself went to a ice show in detroit last month, and as we were walking to the gate, there was a pa. announcement stating that you could not take in beverages or firearms. that is when I remembered that I was wearing my smartcarry with my Kimber 45. I carry a Kimber ultra CDP 45 and a springfield XD9 with no problems.

I have several friends that when they heard that I have been carrying did not believe it until I showed them. I wish you continued success with this great holster.......
