My smartcarry arrived this afternoon at 17:00 local time. Just in time for me to wear it on my 4 hour round trip. What a well thought out comfortable piece of equipment you have come up with.
As per your instructions, I wore it nice and low and after a while you really do forget that you are carrying. The only adjustment I needed to make to my normal routine was to slightly recline my car seat (I sit very upright) other than that I have been driving, walking, bending down to open safes and never had to adjust myself once all night. Thank you very much for your time and your service in firstly helping me select the right product and in shipping to me so promptly. I will be recommending the smartcarry to anyone that will listen!
I had a few practice draws with my unloaded Glock 19 and it is very instinctive to draw, it won’t be long until I can draw it close to as fast as my conventional holsters.

D. S. - Victoria, AustraliaI have had mine for a few weeks. IWB holsters didn't work for me at all due to body shape (and I invested 100’s of dollars and tried them all!). OWB worked great for me and there are several (with UBG Bonneville being my favorite) that I use regularly when dressed with an untucked shirt.
My issue, like many others, was a comfortable way to carry with a tucked shirt. I saw the Smart Carry at several gun shows, read many of the reviews here, watched the videos and laughed at them all as being one of the silliest ideas I have seen in a long time.
I carry either a 1911 officers model or a Kahr PM9. I got the medium size and it fit both weapons just fine. Here are my comments…
Positive…
• Comfort wow…the laugh is on me. Folks…I have to join the others and say that if worn properly, this is even more comfortable than the OWB rigs.
Negative…
• First Impression stitching is not professional looking. However, it doesn't distract from functionality at all.
• Velcro Straps have sharp edges, but the adjustability makes these worth it and I only feel those edges on rare extreme bending maneuvers these may reduce itself after a washing or two.
• Driving If you want to have quick access to the handgun, transfer it to a pocket holster almost impossible to draw when behind the wheel. Do not confuse this difficulty with one in any seated position…I can draw seated as long as I can straighten first (no steering wheel).
Not only was my SmartCarry shipped MUCH faster than I expected, it's also an ingenious system. I'm amazed.

You lied to me! I really didn't think you were all that dishonest when we spoke on the telephone on Wednesday, November 21, 2007. You answered everyone of my questions regarding your holsters. Every explanation was in layman's terminology and made perfect sense to me. You then explained to me that since it was the day before Thanksgiving, my holster would not ship until Monday, November 26, 2007. That too, made absolute common sense to me and I had no problem whatsoever with that fact. It was not a problem.
Today, Monday, November 26, 2007, I learned Mr. Parrott that you, sir, are dishonest! You told me a downright lie and shipped my holster sometime after receiving my order on Wednesday, because the danged thing arrived today! Absolutely phenomenal customer service. I am very impressed!
Now, as to the fit/comfort/wearability of this holster. I am of the opinion that if the legislative bodies in this country are going to mandate the use of seatbelts in automobiles, helmets for motorcycle riders, helmets for bicycle riders and other safety devices, it should become federal law that if you are going to carry concealed, you should be required to use a Smart Carry Holster.
As soon as I removed the package from the mailbox, I immediately went into my bedroom, checked my Sigma 40 for proper fit (dead on the money!) and put the holster on. I’ve been wearing it ever since. Comfort = A+; Accessibility = A+, Safety = A+; Overall Satisfaction = A+.
Wonderful product. Fabulous customer service. Perfect transaction. The only way I can suggest you improve things if for you to begin delivering them personally.

I must admit to having tried your competition simply because of the price differential. Yours is a better product in workmanship and the materials used. I'm sold on the concept of deep concealment already, so the fit of the SmartCarry with my little Kahr is confirmation of the ease of carry of this method. With a safety pin to adjust fit to allow a full grip it is most comfortable and the draw is acceptable.

This is my third attempt at sending you some feedback on the SmartCarry holster. On the two prior occasions I've been at a loss for words regarding how to describe the experience!
I have two jobs. In one I'm active and constantly moving. In the other I'm either stuck behind a desk or a steering wheel. I've found that regardless of my activity there is no discomfort or fear of discovery. I've varied my clothing from jeans to khaki's to dress pants to gym shorts/pants and have yet to be "made". Even when the clothing is snug.
For me though, the ultimate test came when I ventured out to the woods this past weekend. I traverse some rugged terrain that includes steep hills, brambles, and cliffs. Not once did my pistol move. I'm sure I could have tumbled down a cliff and my pistol would have stayed secure.
Well done Charlie! I'll be ordering more as the need arises.

After a couple of days, I've determined that this darn thing is unsafe for concealed carry! It's so comfortable that in a critical situation, I might forget I'm armed... You need to warn people... No longer can I just reach for the sore spot on my hip...

Received your holster early last weekend and it fit's like a glove (myself and the Glock). Spent the weekend cutting firewood, cleaning elk and fishing. The holster was so comfortable you forget you are wearing most of the time.
Was wearing an Underbody Armor snug fitting shirt talking to my cousin about my new Glock and he said he'd like to see it. Told him to close his eyes and count to 1. When he opened his eyes he was wondering where the Glock came from in my hand. Showed him where it was and your holster and even seeing where it went he still couldn't tell I was carrying.

Got my holster today – this thing is just amazing. The holster does everything that you claim!!! I need to order a few of these so I can swap out. My wife said there like bras – one you wear, one in the wash, and one in the drawer:) There are many very nice and expensive leather holsters out there but I am telling you that they cant even begin to compare to your solution. I received the Smartcarry today. Actually, my wife received it Saturday or Tuesday and forgot to tell me, and I just found it today. The ambi security model is GREAT! The medium? fits my XD-9 perfect. My S&W 59 is just a little top-heavy in the front holster since the 59 is longer, so I put it in the security pocket behind the holsters. Stayed in there like a bear in its den... it fits like the security portion was made for it.
With this ambi security, I have so many options. Used it tonight at a certain function that would have been very detrimental to me had it been known I was carrying. All I can say is that had some gunman opened up, there was a good chance it wouldn't end like Virginia Tech ended.
Great product! Once I buy a longer XD-45, I'll be ordering another ambi with deeper pockets to accommodate a couple longer guns. I think one needs more than one smartcarry in the stable.
That extra pocket in the security model is a fantastic benefit to go along with a fantastic holster!

Sorry, I meant to send this email out when the holster first got here, but it's here (and fast!). As with my other purchases, I'm more than satisfied. I can't believe the lengths some people go to trying to make IWB carry work ALL the time. I tell everyone who will listen how great your holsters are. The second purchase I made was part of a birthday present for my dad to go along with his S&W J frame. He was skeptical at first, but now he loves it. This one was a second for me because I found myself carrying a G27 more often than anything else, and the extra length on the large Smartcarry I ordered the first time seemed unnecessary. Keep making great products!

I recieved the holster I ordered, wow- three days! Fast Service.
Prior to ordering your product, I as many others have tried a miriad of other carry options. I was very dissapointed in allmost all,untill Smart Carry. I carry some extra poundage around the waist ,so almost all IWB carry options were very miserable for lengthy periods.I almost chose to look at some less efficient caliber weapons to achieve a smaller size. I am very glad I waited. Your product was perfect for my Smith - J frame or Walther PPK carry. The comfort of this system is just plain remarkable. My wife and daughter were amazed. They never had a clue of it's Iocation.
I actually had to show them. The wife had even patted me down while I was wearing a t-shirt and jeans.
Drawing from this holster does take a little practice, but is very easily mastered.

I am writing to let you know that I received the Smart Carry I ordered from you about a month ago and have had time to use it. Here's what I say about it....
You shipped Smart Carry very promptly, the next day after I had ordered it and on a Saturday to boot. I made a problem with my order when I typo'd my email address. You fixed that problem in just a matter of hours. The Smart Carry arrived within a few days and it was well packaged and discreet.
The Smart Carry fit my firearm perfectly and your tips about installing a safety pin for the extra magazine worked perfectly. I have worn it several times to various places. The first time, it was a bit uncomfortable, but I learned I had the belt too tight. I loosened it and it felt much better. Like you say, it is meant to be worn low down.
No one has "made me" with the Smart Carry while I wore pants and shorts. I have tried it out in the restroom and it is a breeze. It doesn't get in the way. Driving with it on is comfortable. I know the firearm is there, but it doesn't cause any discomfort.
It is well constructed. I saw some copycats at the gun show in San Antonio and they do not match the quality of the Smart Carry. I am very pleased with my Smart Carry. I need to purchase another one for another firearm soon. I'll tell everyone I can about the quality of your product.
