I must confess , I had been looking at this site , reading testimonials for a while (months)
contemplating what to do. I have more holsters than I care to say. I took the plunge and bought this holster. I love it. I can
absolutely wear anything I want and no one has a clue. Which is what I have been looking for. I was concerned with sitting with this
strapped on. Jeans are a little bit of a pain but even in the winter I try to wear shorts (I am a pants hater).I wish I would have
bought this sooner. I have no need for any other holster now. Great product and how can you not like 60 days money back? Who does that!
By the way I've had mine almost a full month, wearing it 10 hrs a day 5 days a week, and I won't change anytime soon. Thanks again.
Charlie,
I just purchased a smartcarry holster for my Beretta 3032 Tomcat from you. My Tomcat fits perfect. It's comfortable, I don't even know I'm wearing it and no one else knows I'm wearing it. All the years I've carried concealed and all the holsters I've owned, smartcarry is the BEST holster I own. I heard about it through USCCA. Thank You for this fine holster.
Sincerely
Xxxxxxxx Xx XxxxxI have read some forums where people asked for opinions about your deep concealment holsters. Unfortunately some people just can’t seem to resist the all-too-easy opportunity to crack wise and make critical comments about your products, even though they have no experience with your excellent products and services.
On the other hand, I have never read anything by an actual user of the SmartCarry that failed to recommend your products. That should tell you something about how some people, when suspected of ignorance, open their mouth and remove all doubt.
The first time I used your product I wore it to conceal a Glock 17 and a spare magazine while wearing a tucked-in golf / polo shirt and a pair of summer trousers. After a full twelve-hour warm summer day that included four hours of driving to and from Philadelphia, business meetings, lunch and other activities, your holster kept my weapon securely concealed and accessible in a manner that was effective and extremely comfortable compared to any other method I have used during decades of concealed carry experience. The comfort level was such that there were many times during the day when I was truly unaware that I had the weapon with me. Concealing a full-sized weapon and a 17 round magazine dressed as I was would not have been possible without the SmartCarry.
I have frequently carried a much smaller 9 mm weapon in a pocket holster inside my front pocket. Car keys, change, money clip, gum, pen knife and anything else I carried with me had to fit in the remaining pockets, which now seemed too few. In addition, the added weight of the loaded pistol was uncomfortable and made belt adjustments a recurring necessity. I have also worn a variety of inside and outside the waistband holsters (paddle and others) designed to make carrying a weapon more comfortable and concealable. SmartCarry has them all beat by a wide margin for a number of reasons. Primarily, SmartCarry distributes the weight of gun and magazine evenly and comfortably on both hips as advertised. Carrying several pounds of steel on one side of your body for hours at a time is just not comfortable, even if you become accustomed to it. You know that feeling of relief and relaxation you get after removing your holster after a long day of carry – kind of similar to the feeling you get when you take off a pair of heavy boots? There is no such feeling with SmartCarry. That illustrates how comfortable it is.
I should also add that presenting the weapon is very quick and easy with minimal practice, just as advertised.
Going to the bathroom for any purpose was simply intuitive. In my opinion, anyone who requires the detailed instructions included with the SmartCarry in this regard probably isn’t smart enough to be trusted with loaded weapons.
Final note: I can understand why someone may be skeptical to adopt such an unconventional method of carry. Let me assure them that this is an excellent product that works exactly as advertised, and easily exceeds all reasonable expectations. I wish I had purchased it sooner.
Thanks for a great product.
Xxx Xxxxx - York, PACharlie,
I've had my Smart Carry for a few weeks and can't say anything but good things about it. I carry a Glock 23 or a Ruger LCP and it works very well for either gun. I've found that an empty dental floss dispenser in the bottom of the pocket takes up just the right amount of space to keep the LCP from setting too deep in the holster that's sized for the Glock. I wear jeans nearly 100% of the time and you'd expect the tiny little LCP to disappear from sight but I was a bit skeptical about hiding the larger Glock 23 but was pleasantly surprised to see that it also disappears. You can see a bit of a bulge below my belt from the butt of the Glock but it's not that noticeable and I've found that you can wear a cell phone over that spot and it is completely hidden then. I have worn IWB and pocket holsters but even with the little LCP they'll pull your pants down on one side and I was constantly pulling my pants up but the Smart Carry eliminated that problem even when carrying the heaver Glock. It's not that you can't feel that you are carrying a hidden firearm but it is very manageable and very comfortable to wear and its extremely comforting to know that you have literally at your fingertips a totally hidden means to protect yourself or loved ones should the need arise.
I've got one daughter that carries a concealed handgun and another one that'll be eligible to get her concealed carry permit soon so you can expect an order for a couple more Smart Carry holsters soon. Thanks for a great product at a fair price.

D. H. - Marked Tree, Arkansas New testimonial from Israel - 07-29-2012Dear Charlie,
I have been using a SmartCarry now for a decade, and my tastes in pistols has evolved from concealable, lightweight pieces to full size competition ready guns. Today I gave my Medium size SmartCarry the ultimate test, in load bearing, and went running with a 3 lb racegun, namely a CZ75 SP01 Shadow with a UniMax laser, concealed under my shorts therein. Granted, I was "pleased to see fellow runners" as I did my three mile run, but the gait adjustments I made to minimize the gun's bouncing amidships resulted in the softest paved surface run I have ever had. I'm now forty and I run to stay in shape, and avoidance of musculoskeletal stress and injury is important to persist in this physical activity, and today running with a Shadow in your holster paid off handsomely with an unintended consequence of an exquisitely nice run.
Thanks again for your excellent products.
Best regards,

place your order!Dear Charlie,
I wanted to send an e-mail to say thank you for making a holster we can use everyday, carry concealed without anyone knowing we have a pistol on us, unless we tell them. I am a retired Chief of Police, and thru out my career and after retirement I obtained a lot of holsters. But since I discovered the Smart Carry, I ordered one, tried it, and then ordered a second one for another pistol I carry, and they are now my favorite carry holster.
I really like the fact it is a deep concealment holster, which is very important to me, as I don't have to worry about it being seen by anyone, but yet easy to draw if needed. Thank you for making such a great holster, I recommend it to anyone interested in carrying concealed.
Take care and stay safe,

I just received my new smart carry holster and have been wearing it all morning seated at my desk for over 4 hours. I honestly can't believe how unobtrusive and comfortable it is to wear. I will certainly practice safe-unloaded drawing but I can already tell it is easier than a IWB when seated, virtually the same when standing compared to an IWB and entirely a better choice than an ankle holster when other methods won't work. The restroom as you stated really does not pose any issues and it also begs the question, if you are in a restroom stall, what do you do with a IWB holster that is actually safe in handling and also accessible if it was necessary to access? It really seems to be a "smart" design and although I just received it, you have another fan.
Thank you,

W. M. - Phoenixville, PAReceived my order yesterday, very happy with rapid shipping. I've been practicing with it today and I'm extremely satisfied. I had to fill the weapon side with bubble wrap to keep the cylinder edge of my S&W 60 (bobbed hammer) .38 above the edge of the holster otherwise it would snag. The bubble wrap works great. I also installed bubble wrap in the other pouch to keep my speed loader above the edge.

place your order!Hello! I was just on your website considering a purchase of a second SmartCarry and I thought I would drop you a line. I have been carrying my Taurus PT709 Slim in my SmartCarry for over a year now 12 hours a day - every day. It is BY FAR the best holster I have ever used... and that's saying something because I've spent almost twice my guns worth on holsters. I just purchased a smaller 380 (Taurus TCP) and I'm considering purchasing the smaller SmartCarry for that one.
I wanted to add to something I read on the FAQ page about biking with the SmartCarry. I am a road biker (ya know, the super light skinny bikes) and I put in around 100 miles a week. I have found that if I pull the SmartCarry up on my body to where it hugs right at the bottom of my rib-cage and then rotate my gun to about 4 o'clock it is VERY comfortable for long rides. Yes, it's under a shirt and draw is a little slower, but it's there if I need it. Traditional road biking shorts are very tight spandex and impossible to conceal a firearm in so this is a GREAT option that you might want to mention. I know the main reason I started carrying is so that I would be protected while biking and this is a tip that would have won me over.
Once again, thank you so much.
W. S. - Tuscaloosa, ALThese holsters are by far, in my opinion the best way to deep conceal carry. I bought mine last year for the sole purpose of summertime carry because I wear cargo shorts in the Texas heat. I use an alternate IWB for winter time. The construction is great and very comfertable even with a Tauraus PT145 .45 cal and extra mag wich is a double stack 10rnds +1. I am so happy with this holster I orderd one for my father in law which I'm sure he'll enjoy. No other holster comes close for deep concealment and don't accept any knockoffs!
Thanks SmartCarry for a great poduct!
J. T. - Fort Worth, TXWow, my order arrived in 2 days and boy was I surprised. I have been carrying concealed and open carry for over 40 years and I am a rather big fellow over 6' and 280 lbs and a rather large girth above my waist. It has always been very difficult to carry concealed because of my size. When I ordered my smart carry my wife said it would be one more of many holsters I have tried and not liked and will end up in the drawer with the rest of them. Boy, was she wrong, I have been wearing it with my S&W model 60-14, 2 inch for two days now and I have never been more comfortable in all my years carrying concealed and I wish I had ordered one before now. I can walk, stand, sit and rise without any issues or printing. I can't wait for summer time so I can now wear shorts and a T-shirt and conceal carry. I am retired law enforcement (corrections 30 years) and I will certainly be telling all my friends about your product. Thank you so much for making such a quality product at a reasonable price. Feel free to use any or all of my statement as a testimonial, including my name, about your wonderful product.
Thank you again,
W. H. - Elmore, ALHi Andrew!
Thanks so much for the email and for listening up in CT! ( ya know I graduated High School in Simsbury) I've copied in Charlie at Smartcarry. These are fantastic holsters and like everything else on the show, the only way it makes it on air is if I would personally use the product...we won't accept advertising from products or companies that we wouldn't use....and I've worn out a couple of SC Holsters as Charlie can attest! Thanks again for tuning in and listen this Sunday as Rob Pincus and I bring AAR live to the nation from the WORL studios in Orlando...I'll be reading this on air! (I'll leave your last name out)
Thanks again and never leave your cave without your club!

Hi Mark,
I just wanted to share a wonderful buying experience I had with the fine folks over at Smart Carry. I placed an order with them, mentioned I had heard of their product via AAR, and thanked them for supporting the show. Later that day I noticed I had gotten an e-mail from Paypal notifying me of a refund of $5 off my order for being an AAR listener. I recently received my SmartCarry and have been using it daily with my Glock 30 and couldn't be happier, and my wife now wants one too for her pink and white Glock 26. I just wanted to let all your other listeners know what a great product they make and what great supporters of the show and the 2nd amendment they are, Love the show, thanks for doing what you do. Carry on, carry often, and carry everywhere, I know I sure will.

Hi!
I just received my new Smart Carry holster yesterday (Saturday). I strapped it on this morning and spent all day (it's 5:00 and I'm still wearing it) with it and an unloaded Glock G26.
I wore it in my wheelchair and 3 hours watching the football game in my recliner. I took my pistol in and out a BUNCH of times and all I found was that I need to keep practising to get more smooth with extracting the gun from the Smart Carry.
I used the bathroom 3-4 times, again, without incident.
This being my first use, I'd give it a thumbs up as it can only get better with use and practice.
Thanks for getting it to me so quickly and for a quality product.

place your order!Going on 4 mos. of almost every day (7 days a week) and not one time has has a comment or even a look at my smart carry and not even my wife has said anything. I told her when the holster came in I would start wearing it and she has never noticed or asked about it. So I am extremely satisified and well pleased,
Thanks again.

I just received my new SmartCarry holster system today and wanted to say Thanks. What an awesome carry system! By far the most comfortable and high quality system I now own, and believe me, I thought I had the best and most expensive systems until I received your product. Keep up the good work. I will be telling everyone I know about your product. Take care.
Respectfully,

Roberta. Z. - Eugene, ORHello,
Just dropping a note to let you know that my first impressions of the SmartCarry holster from the web were very positive. When I got it and initially tried it on, however, my gun (a Walther P99 .40 cal, not the smallest gun for concealed carry) printed badly on the butt of the handle at the top of my right pocket. I realized my pants were a bit tight (they were several years old), so I bought a couple pairs with 2 more inches to the waistband. They're a bit more baggy than I like, but they do hide the gun much better. I was still a ball of nerves the first time going out in public wearing the gun with this holster, though. Nobody was the wiser.
That was 9 weeks ago, right after I ordered it. Today I started really getting a chance to play with it. (The 9 weeks since I bought it, I have been very busy with work and unable to even find time for target shooting at the range. I run my Internet-based business from home, so no need to concealed carry most of the time.)
I finally got to fiddling with it again the day before yesterday, and discovered that it works really well if I keep it quite low, with the band a couple inches below the top of my hips. It works even better if I position the gun so it's half resting on my left thigh when I sit down, as this puts the butt of the handle where a bulge would suggest fairly well concealed arousal, if anything. Looking straight down, I see some bulge, but so far I can only tell there's actually a gun there because I put just it there! Nobody would ever guess it otherwise. I then took it to another level and put on a pair of my old shorts, with the old smaller waist size. Wearing the holster at this level on my hips, and positioned to the left this way, even in these shorts (which are neither baggy nor tight) hide the weapon and an extra 12 round magazine perfectly. I was very pleased, and more than slightly surprised.
The next thing I did for a test was sleep overnight with it on. In fact I didn't just sleep wearing it, I slept in an intentionally less comfortable place than usual; which is to say, I slept on my couch instead of in my bed. I normally sleep on my stomach, and sometimes on my side. This becomes difficult on a couch. To my amazement, it was still completely comfortable regardless of whether I was on my back, stomach or side.
Then today I invited a friend over to my house, who is also a gun owner. She needed to drop off some things and I wanted to see if she would notice me wearing my weapon concealed. She had no clue whatsoever that I was carrying, even as we discussed concealed carry and she joked about having me shoot her because her boyfriend was aggravating her so much. I was tempted to show her that I was carrying concealed, but decided not to. She left never knowing a thing, which left me delighted, because what she does for a living requires her to be extremely observant, and she definitely takes this quality home with her.
The only problem I have had so far is that the holster appears to be too long for carry this low in some of my old jeans, which are getting rather small for me now. They're practically skin tight, and the shortish distance to the bottom of the crotch in them prevents me from having the holster as low as I need to have it, which made the butt of the handle print like crazy in my right pocket if I had the holster positioned in the middle, as the directions suggest, and as I mentioned above. I just tried on a pair of my old jeans that has a lower crotch seam, and to my amazement, the holster, positioned this low and to the left, disappears again, even in almost literally skin tight jeans! The only thing that prints at all in this case is the edge of the spare magazine, unless I am sitting down - in which case the edge of the holster is visible on my left thigh, but appears to be a soft pocket glasses carrying case through the jeans. I could not wear jeans this tight with my gun if I were to go out, though, because there's literally nowhere for my wallet to go with the holster filling in the left pocket where the wallet usually resides. If the wallet goes in one of the back pockets, the increased tightness causes the gun to print. So it's time for new pants. I'd say it would be anyway, but now I have an excuse to go clothes shopping that will make it much less boring.
I have found that it is fairly easy, with the holster positioned this way, to pee standing up without dropping trousers, either, or even unbuttoning the pants/shorts, and gives no hint that you're wearing a concealed weapon, meaning no need for a stall or urinal dividers, for those cases where there are none.
In summary, I don't have a lot of time actually using the holster in public yet, but now that I have figured out how best to wear it, I am pleased and wanted to report my experiences. The only problem I can see with your holster is that I am honestly afraid I will forget I am wearing a weapon and get myself in trouble entering a place where concealed guns are not allowed by accident. It's that comfortable.
Congrats on a good job and creating a genuinely good, useful, reasonably priced product. I look forward to purchasing a large one when I get myself a G21.
Sincerely, and with an interest in remaining anonymous, if you decide to use this as a testimonial -
