I'd like to comment on my satisfaction with your product. I am impressed with the comfort I've experienced while wearing the Smart Carry for 12 straight hours. In the past my .38 spcl became very cumbersome after a few hours of carrying it around. With Smart Carry it almost feels like its not there. Simplicity is definitely the way to go here. Thanks

Just wanted to say you have a great product that could be made better. I've worn out 3 of your holsters already as I carry all the time. They wear out quickly as the material isn't made for carrying blue steel for months at a time. How about making them with the holster in codura and the regular material for the backing against the body? I practice with mine and wore holes in them to the point that my guns would snag on the holes on the way out (making them bigger). Just my opinion.........Mark D.

Mark,

Thanks for the e-mail, and we have a tip on our website as to how to extend the life of SmartCarry® holsters from normal wear. I tried to look you up in our database and do not have you listed as ever buying a holster from us and I checked back through 1998. The holster I'm wearing right now as I type this is over 4 years old and at a gun show I draw about 200 to 300 times a day to demonstrate the holster, and this holster still has years of life left in it. If you can, give me a shipping invoice number and the name you purchased the holster under if different from Mark D. And the approximate dates would also help, and are you sure you haven't bought a competitor's holster instead of ours? I know that theirs wear out very fast. BTW, drawing the gun doesn't wear out the holster, the lower edge of the strong side rubbing against your clothing does, and the wear is always from the outside in, never from the inside out. BTW, I also carry all day, every day and get years of life out of the holster as do the vast majority of our customers. If you've bought 3 of our holsters, you certainly should be in our database. Look forward to getting the above requested info!

Regards,

Charlie

Charlie: I apologize, after looking at my holsters they were from the other company. Names have changed and I got confused. I'd like to try one of yours to see if it's better than your competitors. That's if you'll sell one to me after I made such a big mistake?

Hi Charlie. Wow ! This holster is great. I was skeptical at first but after reading and following the instructions it worked as stated. I am sitting here right now and I don't even notice it anymore.Standing, walking, sitting, driving, working, and bending. It works ! My buddy just called this morning and ordered one too based on what I showed him. Word of mouth is the best advertising for a good product.

Thanks !

Charlie,

I just wanted to say "Thank you". I've had my SmartCarry now for a week and I am extremely pleased. Much better than the PagerPal I had been using. More comfortable and more secure. I really do sometimes forget that I have it on.

So thanks again.

Hi, Charlie...

Just a quick note to let you know after 2 weeks of using the SmartCarry w/my CCW Makarov that I'm surprisingly satisfied! Yes, the Mak is about as big a piece as I could comfortably carry/conceal in light of my build & preferred wardrobe but using the 9x18 Mak is a good step up from the .32 Beretta I was carrying and only SmartCarry has made it possible for me to carry the Mak with as much concealment & discretion as the little Beretta plus carry a spare mag as a bonus. I asked a couple of good friends if they could spot me carrying the Mak w/SmartCarry and they couldn't, even when I was wearing a pair of snug jeans (diet time!). Last night my girlfriend (who knows about the SmartCarry) did mention that she could see the Mak printing under my dress slacks (thinner material, prints easier?) but no one else noticed when we went out for dinner.

It's surprisingly comfortable for extended periods, even when sitting or driving. No, it's not as convenient as slipping the Beretta into my back pocket nor is it as fast on the draw as an IWB/OWB setup but it does allow me to carry 24/7 w/o worrying about my wardrobe. SmartCarry isn't perfect (what carry holster/method is?) but it works for me and looks to be a winner! Thx again!...

Well, I've been using the smart carry holster for about 2 weeks now and I absolutely love it! I can do anything I want, from working in the yard to shopping at the mall and no one knows (except my husband) that I'm carrying. I don't wear pants, and this has proven to be an excellent way to conceal without compromising my attire preferences or worrying about my gun being in my purse. And it's comfortable! Thanks so much!!

Charles,

I have tried almost every combination of concealment on the market. This by far the most comfortable holster I have ever used. It is so comfortable I actually forget I am carrying a gun at times. I can finally carry without worrying about taking off my jacket and I can wear my shirts tucked in. This is a great product and I have recommended it to everyone I know that has a concealed carry permit.

Hello,

I recently received my smart carry holster. Not only was delivery lightning fast but the product exceeded my greatest expectations. I'm using it to conceal my big Ruger P90DC and I have tried various other rigs with little to no success.

The day I received my smart carry I decided to test it out in the field. Super comfortable. I can sit, stand, walk or crawl in comfort. I didn't tell anyone I was packing the first day and no one noticed a thing. Sometimes I even forgot I was packing.

I must say without a doubt this is the best concealer on the market and your customer service along with fast delivery make this the best value on the market.

Please feel free to post this on your feedback section.

Well, I just got my SmartCarry in the mail today. I put it on with my G30 and wore it for the majority of the day. It was comfortable to wear, but I kept worrying that it was obvious that I had a gun shoved down my pants. I felt like everybody must have been staring at my junk, but they weren't. I would look in a mirror as I walked by, and it was not noticeable at all. I was just a little paranoid I guess.

It reminded me of the first few times that I carried my G23 IWB. I felt like people were staring at me then, too. I guess after I get used to carrying in the SmartCarry, it will be fine. As I said, the holster is very comfortable.

Seriously Bro'.....you're the only one who knows and you'll get used to it. I meet with "C" level executives daily and attend board meetings and conduct presentations in front of multiple admirers on a regular basis and I just never think about it any more. Just so you know, I went through the same self conscious phase. The worst is when you look straight down on yourself.

Try moving the butt of the gun so that it's positioned under the belt buckle (so that the belt rides on top of the butt and the gun should be visible if you look straight down)and then lightly blouse your shirt over half of the buckle. Works like a charm. A very modest half inch of blousing makes a great deal of difference.

A couple words of advice.....use a stall in the men's room. You can stand to do your business by unbuckling your belt and trou and just flip the rig up like a hinge. When finished, shake the dew off the lilly and put 'er back in place and you're ready to go!

If sitting is required just pull the entire rig up around your belly while you're on the throne.

Hope the aforementioned advise wasn't "too much info" for the rest of you guys, but it's something to consider with Smart Carry and is often overlooked until you "gotta go".

Private restrooms with a locking door of course are the best of all worlds. Just unholster and relax.

Re: "Smart Carry Holster"

Over the past nine (9) years I have tried just about every type of concealment holster that is manufactured including the Pager Pal. Up until last week I had yet to find one that you could wear all day, especially in Florida hot weather, and still find it comfortable. The Pager Pal in concept is a good idea, but bad design.

Well after talking to your representative at the Ft. Myers Gun Show I purchased your product. It was everything and more that your representative told me. YOUR PRODUCT IS EXCELLENT. I can't say enough good about it. I am not in the habit of writing letters regarding products, but yours is outstanding.

The ease of wear is such as you have stated you don't know your wearing it or that your carrying. To-day everyone promises great things in their individual products but truly you have delivered. A little practise and you can draw the weapon easily, just follow your instructions. As I say over the years I have tried them all and finally have found what has to be the smartest and best designed concealment holster on the market to-day. Well done, and thank you.

Frankly I didn't at the time think the product would be quite as good as your rep said it would be but was very surprised and most happy to discover that it was all and more of what he said. This holster especially with one of the new lightweight weapons is a combination of perfection when carrying a concealed weapon. You must be very proud to have a product so well thought of in concept and design.

Sincerely,

R. G. - Ft. Myers, FL

Wow! When you said the most comfortable, I thought "yeah, sure. All things considered, it's better than some..." WOW! I am in the car for many hours per day, and I am AMAZED at just how comfortable this is. You really just don't notice it. Don't know of any other holsters that can meet that standard!

Pros:
TOTAL Concealment of ANY handgun and spare magazine pouch!
Cons:
Works "best" with two handed draw and reholstering techniques.

Disappearing Handgun Act!!

My Smart Carry has generated enough recovered revenue to pay for itself! How? By selling my entire remaining obsolete holster collection!

I often wear my Smart Carry Holster with total comfort for periods up to 20 hours at a time and can completely conceal any pistol considered a "carry gun". I use it for all three of my GLOCKs including the somewhat thick gripped G30 in .45ACP. When worn with pleated trousers or shorts, your gun will literally disappear from view. (Tighter fitting jeans will work best with a flatter and thinner pistol as in the 1911 style or the thin subcompacts as in the Kahr product line.)

My daily carry gun is a G26 in 9mm with Pierce pinky extenstion or my G23 in .40 S&W. I work in a corporate environment where ABSOLUTE and TOTAL discretion can NEVER be compromised. I consult with presidents, and CEO level executives and their delegates on a daily basis and have never "been made". When positioned correctly, even I can't see any printing while looking in a mirror. I am confident that the general public has no clue. I have had LEO personnel as well as freinds actually have to place their hands on the gun to prove to them that it is really on my person.

I have been able to refine my draw to the point of being able to draw and double tap two into the X and Ten rings at 7 yards in about 2.5 seconds. Other shooters have been sceptical but soon become believers when they witness a demonstration at the range.

Contrary to some of the forum postings I have read by those who have never even worn a Smart Carry Holster, there are absolutely NO issues with sitting, squatting, or bending with this rig. You will quicky learn your own technique for dealing with nature breaks. Just use a stall in the men's room whenever possible.

Remember to use two hands for a safer method of reholstering (especially if you carry a GLOCK or other gun with no external safety.)

The Smart Carry actually has superior gun retention over ANY other type of holster I have tried. You can jump, run, roll around on the floor and perform somersaults to your heart's content with Smart Carry and your gun will not budge! The weight disrtibution is next to PERFECT. You will be able to wear this rig with total comfort for 24-48 hours straight.

It might not be as pretty as an ornate or hand boned leather holster but no one will see it anyway. It's real beauty is in it's functionality and comfort.

In closing, I can say that Charlie Parrot of Smart Carry is a regular guy who stumbled accross the perverbial "better mouse trap". You won't find a better person with whom to do business.

One last nail in the coffin.....Charlie offers a generous trial period with a full money back gaurantee!

I enjoy being an advocate for this fabulous solution to total discreet concealment and people are surprised and in awe when they see just how fast my GLOCK appears from nowhere.

Please take a moment to visit www.smartcarry.com and see for yourself. Take your time and view the photos of Charlie and his full size 1911 in the Smart Carry. Charlie will spend his personal time answering your questions on the phone.

In closing, there is a plethora of choices in the world of holsters and there are indeed some very accomplished craftsmen turning out some beautiful holsters. However, if you need or desire a carry method which provides 100% concealability which offers superior comfort, gun retention AND is next to impossible for someone to take your firearm in a hostile manner, do yourself a favor and check out a Smart Carry for yourself.

My holster arrived in 4 business days!

Respectfully,

To Whom This May Concern:

Thanks for offering such a superior concealed holster. I own numerous different holster types and sizes. When I go out for a fun night in the city, my holster of choice is SmartCarry. It's better to carry as little as possible when walking around in a big city. SmartCarry is excellent during warm weather because it's comfortable and I barely notice that it is there. This holster works great when I wear tank-tops, shorts or even with no shirt on. But forget about wearing it underneath spandex bike shorts and spandex swimsuits. It's too obvious of an imprint.

Since I started wearing SmartCarry, most people do not realize that I am carrying from a visual point of view. However, an embarrassing situation has been occurring when friends, family and even new people I meet hug me very tightly. They start to realize that "something" is there. I try my best to down play all the inquiries and make light of the situation. But sometimes it gets very awkward when they try and get a second feel or even boldly use their hands to touch my crotch area in public! This has happened with both guys and girls. I still get shocked each time it happens. Have you heard of this situation happening before?

Regards,

K. U. - Plymouth Meeting, PA

I was beginning to think there was a conspiracy between the government and holster manufacturers that went along the lines of "let's make it difficult and painful to carry a concealed weapon even if it is legal." I spent 2 nights ago wearing an ankle holster that I was certain was going to remove my left foot, modifications are pending. Yesterday I received my SmartCarry Holster and within 10 minutes I was sold. What a great product! And being somewhat capable with a sewing machine I was impressed with the quality as well. I carry a full size Beretta 92 and an extra clip with your SmartCarry holster. I've been using it for years, even since it was called Thunder belt. I love the fact that I can wear it with almost any clothes I want, and that it doesn't pull my pants down if I wear it without a belt.

I usually carry with the grip above the beltline and with my shirt untucked. Any IWB holster would work in this fashion but with the SmartCarry I can change out of my pants and into surgical scrubs, in front of other doctors, with nobody ever seeing the gun. I get a kick out of it every time. Try that with a clip on or belt loop holster.

I also like the idea that the gun is up front where I can keep an eye on it. In the back the butt (of the gun) tends to poke out if you bend over even slightly. I feel less secure about someone trying to snatch my gun from the back as well. Anyone who reached in the direction of my SmartCarry would get a pop in the nose even if I'd left the gun at home.

The only problem I've had is that the Beretta is a pretty long gun. I was riding on my motorcycle and I went over a speed bump a little too fast. The bike went up a little, I went up a little and the gun went up a little. Then, just as Newton predicted, the bike came down, I came down and the gun came down *DING* right on my testicle. I don't know if I made any gestures to indicate that I had just pinched a nut between my barrel and my bike seat, but at least none of the other motorists knew I was packing!

Since then I've had a few other brushes with pain. Crouching down in a pair of jeans can require a little forethought. But it's worth it. If concealed carry is the goal, nothing compares to the SmartCarry.
