Hi,
About 3 years ago I ordered one of your thunderbelt holsters.
The holster is now showing a bit of wear, which is expected, considering I
wear it 15 hours a day, 7 days a week.
I am really impressed by the quality of your workmanship, as this holster has had a really tough life. The only thing that went wrong with it was the velcro section coming loose from the backing it was sewn onto. (it was quickly fixed with a sewing machine) Thanks again for a really high quality holster.
I bought a Marine Tuf Cloth from your company about 2 years ago, and now need to refresh it a bit. Unfortunately, no-one here seems to know what mineral spirits are.
I can get Turpentine, but the package says NOT turpentine. Could you give me another name for the mineral spirits (brand name, or chemical composition).

Webmaster note: "Mineral spirits" is plain old garden variety paint thinner, available in any supermarket for about $2.00 a quart. Since C. purchased his TUF-CLOTH in 1999, I suspect it may be at the end of its useful life span. I get about two years use out of one and I use it nightly when I take my 1911 out of my SmartCarry® and put it up for the night.I absolutely LOVE my new SmartCarry. Peace of mind in more ways than one. Thanks for a great product.

I received my holster about one week ago and decided to test it thoroughly before contacting you. I'll admit I was somewhat skeptical when browsing your web site. How could any holster be all you claimed it to be?
Well..... I have never bought any product I have been as satisified with as my new smart carry holster. My Walther PPK/S fits in it perfectly, comfortably and is completely undetectable. I wore this rig a week, every day, even forgot I was wearing it. Even when wearing a leather carpenters apron, climbing, kneeling, etc.( I'm a builder ) the holster remained comfortable. I probably won't wear the holster while working but I thought that was a heck of a test.Many thanks for providing such a great product!

Hope you had good luck at the gun show this weekend.
The holster came yesterday, Monday, after we spoke late Thursday. Great service. I really am impressed by the fit and feel. It is very comfortable, and after about 15 minutes, I forget that it is even there. Other than a slight, and I mean slight, bump at the edge of the grip, my Glock 27 is undetectable. I doubt anyone else will even notice it, but I plan to try it out tonight at home. I am going to keep it on all night and see if anyone realizes that I am carrying.
Thanks again for your quick response. I'm going to recommend it to several of my concealed carry friends.

Webmaster's note: We told T. that we are now doing more out-of-state gun shows, and Texas was definitely on the agenda. We ship more holsters to Texas than any other state, which means Texas isn't a good place for criminals - definitely not a "safe" work environment for them!

The SmartCarry Invisible Holster for the veryGot the holster today. Quicker than I ever imagined. It looks very nice and of high quality. I don't have the compact pistol I specified for it yet, but I put my full size HK in there to try it out and it worked like a charm. I could not hardly even tell it was there. Just a note to tell you that I am enjoying the SmartCarry holster I recently bought from you. Your wife was very nice and promptly sent the holster and all the info. I requested. As a retired cop, I have tried just about every type holster out there...Inside Waistband, Thunderwear, Belt Carry, Cross Carry, Ankle, Shoulder.... and the list goes on! I sent back the Thunderwear Holster after having my Ruger Sp101 get stuck in the seam. Your holster allows the user to have a weapon on him at all times...no matter where you go or what you wear. I wear mine everyday at my store. I am seriously considering become a distributor of your fine product. I have your distributor info. which your wife sent me with the holster. Are you running any specials for new distributors? I even have a name for my new business:
"Common-Sense-Concealment". If you really think about it, your holster is full of Common Sense! I would like to be the first in South Carolina to start carrying your product. Please advise if you can offer any further assistance.

T. S. - Simpsonville, SCI've been using the SmartCarry holster for several months now, and can't imagine any other way to carry! It is definitely the best, safest, and most concealable holster on the market. I just wanted to let you know that you've got a great product, and great customer service to back it up.
I do have one question. I have noticed that after wearing my Glock 26 and spare clip for several hours, that my lower back aches. Also, when bending over to tie my shoes or pickup something, the butt of my Glock almost makes it impossible to bend correctly at the waist. Am I wearing the SmartCarry too high? It seems that with my body structure, if I tighten the strap around my waist where it naturally fits, the butt of my Glock ends up almost directly under my belt. For concealment, this is great, but due to the back aches and difficulties when bending over, I recently have loosened up the SmartCarry strap so that it hangs lower in the front. This allows the Glock to be worn lower, allowing me to bend over almost without noticing that I am wearing. Also, my back doesn't ache at all with this configuration. The only downside is that the butt ends up right around my front right pocket, and (to me) seems a bit more noticeable. My wife says that it is not, and it is probably just that I am not used to seeing the Glock worn lower. Anyway, I just wanted to find out if I am wearing it correctly, and see if you have had other people comment about similar experiences.

You said I'd love SmartCarry in February and you were right. I do love it.
I picked up the model (webmaster's note: medium) that fit a small auto (Glock 26) and I was hoping it would get triple duty with my Glock, Taurus 85 compact revolver and eventually a Sig 239. It does all of that and more.
I made the simple modifications you suggested to fit the Taurus and used it for a couple of weeks. I forgot I was wearing it. But yet it was easy to draw AND no one EVER noticed it. Not even my shooting buddies that would notice those things.
>p>My happiest day was today. I took out my SmartCarry and tested it for fit with my Kimber Compact 1911 (Officer's model size). It fit like a glove. Now I can carry 45ACP power and a spare mag with ease. And the weight of a 1911 is non-existent (maybe now some of our visitors will understand why I can carry a full size, 52.25 oz.All of my buddies laughed when I told them I was considering a SmartCarry. Now they're considering getting one since their backs all ache after carrying full-sized guns in IWB holsters.
