I received the holster yesterday & it works great! I'm gonna wear it to the range this weekend to show all the guys. Thanks again for working with me to find just the right fit.
Take care,
L. S. S. - New Market, ALI love it! Told my friends, now they want one also. Wore it everywhere for four days, not a soul knew I had it on till I told them. Then everyone thought I had my pistol on behind me. The go anywhere, do anything, peace of mind holster.
I have noticed some lose stitching on the front right (right side as I have it on) where the elastic meets the holster. I will send it back for a replacement soon. I hate to see it go. Now that I have a holster that I love, I hate to part with it. Not for a minute.
Congratulations on a great product.
M. A. N. - Murfreesboro, TNWow. What a great product in such a small package. With a bit of cloth in the bottom of the holster, the Taurus 85 comes out super clean. I am amazed that more people don't use this type of rig.
I've been wearing it now for about a hour with jeans on - my tightest attire - and no problem. Drawing was a snap. Suck in my gut, grab my waistband with my left hand, reach in and "Excuse my while I whip this out!" aka Blazing Saddles.
Thanks for such a great product. I have a feeling I'll be carrying this more than I thought.
D. O. - Taunton, MAI just came back from the Foxboro, MA gun show where "ThunderWear" was being shown. I looked at it with a discerning eye after checking out your site. I thought I might be able to get a good comparison and maybe pick it up without waiting for the mail delay.
Let me tell you, I wasn't in the booth long enough for the guy to even see me. The seams that would catch were amazing. I know from rec.guns that any seam inside the holster is a no-no.
I'll be calling on Monday to order one of these up. I am very impressed with your product. I can't wait to get it and test it out. (Although a couple of my buddies will laugh at me when they find out I have it. They're also the ones limping around due to a Sig or Beretta stuck in an IWB holster. My back can't handle that!)
Thanks again! Talk with you soon!
D.O. - Taunton, MAJust a quick note to inform you my new SmartCarry is working great! No other holster I've used before can come close to the comfort or accessibility. Even after several hours of use, I don't experience any discomfort. Unlike shoulder or back support (belly bands) type holsters, your Smart Carry gives me a huge free range of motion. I can jog, rollerblade and bike without having to stop and "re-adjust" every minute. I know I'll have this holster for quite some time. I am very pleased with my purchase. If I had just bought one sooner, I would have saved the money I wasted on all my other holsters!!
Let me also thank you for the amazing story you shared with my wife and I about the long history of your own .45 auto. We should all appreciate what so many americans have done for us in times of war so that we have the right to carry our weapons wherever we go.
We'll see you at the next gun show!

place your order! What excellent service!!! I almost don't know how to act anymore when a person/vendor is actually responsive and helpful. Most of the time no one will answer, and, if they do, they repeatedly fail to do what they say they will do.
I appreciate your sending the Small size for a trial. I think that may be good, because the Medium really allows a lot of slack and movement, safety pins and all. I understand and appreciate that the view of others toward any bulge is different from my own view. I have discovered that pleated pants serve better than unpleated pants, even if the fit is a bit snug. I haven't tried a swim suit or shorts yet because it's too cold.
One last question: You mention wearing your rig so there is a bulge above your right hip pocket. Do you wear your rig on the right rear quarter? All your pictures and instructions only show "front and center." I'll experiment further.
Again, thank you. I'll let you know how the Small holster works out.
A. C. - Anacortes, WATo be brief: Wow! Your SmartCarry is even better than you say. I received mine today, put it on, and forgot I was wearing it. I've got a feeling I will be using no other holsters after this. Many, many thanks for a tremendous product. And your customer service is unequaled. I'll be sending lots of folks your way.
Sincerely,
R. V. - Vinton, VAJust a quick note to say I received the new Smartcarry and the old one is in the mail. Thanks for the quick turnaround.
Hope you had a great holiday!

(Webmasters note: J. B.'s holster had a loose seam and we immediatly sent him a warranty replacement - just to let you know we do have an excellant warranty program, and don't even make you wait until we receive the old holster! This is posted the same day (12-28-99) we received the above e-mail and the returned holster hasn't had time to arrive yet!)Charlie, I received my holster yesterday, and have already tried it on!!!!!! Wow! it fits real good and doesn't seem a bit discomforting. On the third thursday in January, I will meet with a group of retired law enforcement officers, and at that time, I plan to demonstrate the holster to them. In the meantime, I will pass the word to my regular police friends. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your sending me the holster, and will always cherish our friendship. Thanks again, and give my regards to your lovely wife. Take care.
C. B. - Charleston, SCSubject: Awesome!
First....This IS the greatest product!!!
I had been anxiously waiting for my SmartCarry to come in since I ordered it last Tuesday. I received mine on that Friday and had it on in a flash. It is truly invisible and extremely comfortable. It's hides my .45 cal Ruger KP97D very well in both my business and casual dress. Please add my name to the TOP of your "Truly Satisfied" customer list. I wish you much deserved success in the future with your SmartCarry.
J. B. - Lexington, KY
PS: I did not receive the instruction and "tips" sheet with mine. Could you email or send me a copy?
Webmasters note: J. B. was e-mailed a copy of the instructions and snail-mailed a hard copy as soon as we received his e-mail - sorry about that, J. B.!
place your order! It is a pleasure to do business with folks who do what they say. I had a problem with some stitching when I received my holster. I called Carolyn. She immediately had a replacement in the mail to me that day and a pre-paid return envelope to send the defective one back.
Like all others, I tried a leather IWB holster... no fun. I carry the new S&W SW99 in the SmartCarry holster and I can carry it COMFORTABLY AND CONCEALED IN DRESS PANTS. I don't have to keep looking down to see if my pistol is bulging though my pants or the holster clip is sideways and sticking out, etc.. I've never been able to do that.
Thanks Charlie!
C. D. - Florence, KYI found a great holster that makes the P-11 [and spare mag or p-32 backup] so comfortable that I cannot feel it. I can feel my glasses and my wrist watch but this holster is not on the radar screen. http://www.donsholsters.com/ The holster is $45. It is basically a 2 inch elastic band around the waste with velcro over lap attached in back and a two pocket apron in front. The holster is worn over the under shorts and undershirt and under the pants and shirt. The right pocket holds the carry piece and the left holds an extra mag or a backup piece. The guy that owns this web site, Don Lambert is a little guy with a full sized .45 concealed below his belt in front. I could not see the outline of that big gun on that little guy [not loose fitting clothes either]. He says, "People don't stare down there anyway." He could pull that gun out of there and back so fast that he must have practiced. He says you are supposed to practice the move with an unloaded gun.
The parent company http://www.smartcarry.com/ At the parent company [same price] site there is a picture of a girl with her fly zipped up and you see nothing and a picture of her with her fly unzipped and you can see a gun.
C. M. - WAI am the one who called yesterday because I had not received the order I placed on October 14. (I live in Orlando, so I expected to receive my order after only a few days.) I just wanted to tell you that my order arrived in the mail today.
I love this SmartCarry holster! (In fact, I am wearing it now with my SIG P230.) It fits very comfortably and is not noticeable under my khaki shorts.
By the way, I bought the SmartCarry holster because I needed a way to carry my pistol while jogging and didn't like the idea of a fanny pack holster flopping around. I had heard about Thunderwear on the rec.guns newsgroup, but then I read other articles that said Thunderbelt/SmartCarry was a much better product. I am happy with it, so they must be right!
P.S. Thanks for sending a white one. I was worried that I was too late with my request for a white holster. (I wanted white because if the strapping ever peeks above my jogging shorts, at least it could be mistaken for my underwear.)
J. H. - Orlando, FL
Webmaster's note: The instructions that come with SmartCarry describe a simple step you can take to prevent the strapping from ever showing above your belt line - simply put the strapping under your shirt tail in the REAR only, and over your shirt in the front
Charles:
Thanks for the quick feedback!
>I *was* planning to order ThunderWear, but after I saw the comment in rec.guns I went to your website to check it out. After seeing it, I just "felt better" ordering your product instead.Your website had more useful information, and answered all the questions I had about what to order much better than your competitor's site did.
Since I felt more comfortable ordering from your site, and your product sounded better to boot, I bought from you.
I just thought you'd appreciate more feedback on why *you* got my business, rather than "the other guy." I sell a product over the web also, and I know how rarely customers give you any info on why they ordered.
M.O. - Ranco Palos Verdes, CACharlie
I am extremely pleased with the "small" size SmartCarry holster you sent me for my Kel-Tec P-11. It really does give me a new option in very discrete carry, and also gives me a spare magazine with no more trouble than carrying the gun by itself. I find that the straps across my back distribute the weight much more comfortably than any belt or IWB holster I own, and the level of concealment is absolutely amazing. I had planned to use this holster only when I couldn't conceal a "more convenient" style, but the SmartCarry works so well it has already become my first choice for everyday use. I'm sure I could easily carry a much larger gun.
I do have a couple of comments: (1) One of the problems all of us have encountered from time to time is what to do with a handgun when seated in a rest room. The SmartCarry holster keeps the gun in a safe yet readily accessible place, and out of sight of anyone who might get nosy. (2)Reholstering any gun, with any action type, should always be done with care. When possible, (as with exposed hammer double-action) I like to place my thumb on the hammer as I push the gun into the holster. That way I can feel the hammer move if it does when it shouldn't, and my thumb pressure makes hammer movement even more unlikely.
Thanks for doing such a nice job of manufacturing a well designed product. I also appreciate your willingness to answer my questions, as well as your prompt service.

SmartCarry note: Yes, our utility patent does protect SmartCarry in other countries!)Hi C&C
I got the holster today. It is amazing. This is unbelievable. I have wore and struggled with holsters for years not anymore, since I got the Smartcarry holster. The service and attitude is the best. I will tell my co-workers and friends.
Thank You
Don - Houston, TXCharlie,
Thanks for the great service; I received the invisible holster quickly and it fits fine. I had been looking for something to wear under shorts, as that's all I can stand to wear in the Tucson summers. Your holster makes my Kahr MK-40 disappear completely, with shirt tucked in, out, or no shirt at all. Just for fun I had my Mother try to find where I was carrying -- she even frisked me but had to give up without finding anything! I am a big guy and was concerned whether I could still bend over, etc. while carrying, but I was surprised to find out my range of motion is not hampered in the least. I can forget I even have a gun on, even while tying my shoes or washing the windshield. And I'm not constantly pulling my pants up! I think you have the perfect solution for deep concealment, and I would recommend anybody to try it.
M .J. - ArizonaCharlie,
MY package of 2 holsters arrived via US Mail today. I am very impressed with the quality versus the Thunderware that I purchased a few years ago. I also noticed that the large which I will use for my S & W 4566 is much larger than the large Thunderware that I have been using. The gun sits deeper in the new holster. I like it!!!!
I like the leather modification but I thought that it would run across the entire bottom not just the strong side, oh well I will see how it works.
I will use these all weekend and give you more feedback later but my initial response is that these are far superior to the Thunderware holsters.Take care,
A. R. - NHWell for once I have discovered a company whose claims are true. Your invisible holster should be required issue for all police agencies nationwide. Also, I'll bet the military would be interested in looking at your product. I ordered your holster about a week ago for my HK USP 45. No one else I know of carries a firearm as large as this as a concealed weapon simply because of it's size. I have tried Bianchi as well as Safariland products and none of them allow me to carry my favorite weapon without printing. Yesterday I spent the day working on equipment at a leasing company I own and I was comfortable working in 100+ degree heat in southwest Houston, wearing my HK. Today I wore shorts and a T-shirt, again with my HK. No one, unless they decided to grope me would ever be able to determine that I was carrying my firearm. Your holster is simply the best product available today.
Couple of suggestions though. I found that with a firearm with a 4" barrel or longer, positioning the holster slightly left of my groin allows the handle and clip not to push forward when I sit or if I wear blue jeans. You may want to suggest this. Also, one design change I would recommend. On the elastic and, the edges are rectangular and sharp (where they overlap to close). How about cutting them to round, or sewing some cloth around the edges to keep them from poking the wearer when an undershirt is not worn.
By the way, I can draw, cycle a round and fire my HK from your holster in just under three seconds. With practice or when not wearing a belt, I'm sure that could be improved upon.
Thanks again for a great product!
