I received my SmartCarry holster and I wanted to give you my thoughts on it. It arrived the day after I last emailed you, so it took a total of 3 days shipping which was very fast.

I opened the pouch & my first impression was:

"Oh my God, I just paid $60 bucks for a glorified fanny pack!"

Anyhow, I unenthusiastically opened the Ziploc bag in came in & took out the holster. First thing I noticed was the construction quality. It is made extremely well. The stitching is top notch, the elastic is incredible strong & the strapping is very durable. I chose the denim model & did notice that the strength of the denim material is tough. In all honesty the materials & construction used in the making of the holster is excellent.

I read the instructions before doing anything else, just to make sure I gave this product a fair shake. I put it on. It felt very natural around my hips. I put my shirt in front under the holster & the tail over the strap, as per the directions. I holstered my weapon (a S&W Sigma .40 cal), and walked around a bit. It felt fine so I put on my trousers which were Levi 501 button fly jeans.

Even the butt of the handgun was not visible, but could I draw it? My first attempt was relatively successful, a bit clumsy, but I could see that with practice, I could do it. Unfortunately, I don't have loose jeans. What I did note is the weapon did not snag or hang up on the holster when drawn, and the weapon was very secure when holstered.

Next I tried on gym shorts with draw strings. I was very impressed with the concealment.

The draw with these pants on was smooth & fast. Without a shirt or with the shirt tucked in, I can see just see the imprint of the the butt of the handgun a bit. Since shirts are not usually tucked in with these, covering with the shirt over the shorts completely eliminates any trace of visibility. I can say the same applied when wearing a suit & tie. Since the trousers are relaxed the holster provided excellent concealment & fast draw.

In both cases mobility was not an issue. I can move around, sit, drive, cross my legs, (I am sitting here in my recliner with my laptop right now writing this e-mail wearing the SmartCarry holster) with no discomfort whatsoever.

I have been wearing my SmartCarry holster now for over a week now and I can state that it has surpassed ALL of my expectations. It is comfortable and concealing I can in all honesty say I will not be using the 60 day return trial, as you could not pry holster this from my hands.

I like the deep concealment which it provides. There is no question or risk that I may make others "uneasy" by accidentally revealing my weapon. I do still use my IWB holster but only with my jeans, until such time as I either drop one more size or buy looser jeans. With my shorts or business suits, I use nothing else.

I just received my holster yesterday in the mail and wore it for a few hours last night to get the fitting correct.

Today is the first day that I can honestly say I am able to conceal my firearm at work without worry of someone becoming suspicious due to printing or a clip from my old iwb holster.

That is the first advantage.

This is by far the most comfortable holster that I have ever worn outside of belt carry. I know personal comfort should not be a deciding factor if I carry or not on a daily basis, but your holster definitely makes this choice much easier. I will definitely carry much more often, there is no reason not to now.

Thank you for your wonderful product! I've had my Smartcarry for a week, and I now carry a Ruger LCR on a full time basis. I am amazed at how easy it is to use the Smartcarry. When I purchased the Smartcarry, I really didn't expect it to be this comfortable, but I was wrong. I don't have any discomfort or feel any awkwardness when I wear the holster. By far, this is the best way to carry! As a minister, I have to wear suits and ties. I really didn't want to wear a gun that would be obvious to church members. In other words, I didn't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable knowing their preacher's packin' heat. I can now be protected without anyone knowing.

I ordered a Smart Carry holster back in April, and have been very pleased with the performance of the holster. The durability is excellent, and the sweat barrier is flawless. When I ordered my holster, I specified that I carry a Kel-Tec P-11 pistol (order #16366).

Unfortunately, the top of slide on my P-11 sticks over the top of the holster back, and while this isn't always a problem, on hot days, that part of my gun gets sweat on it, and consequently, I have to dry it off, and clean that area often to ensure it doesn't rust. I'm planning on ordering another holster soon, and wanted to know if the size of the holster could be made bigger so ensure that the whole gun is protected from sweat. I ask this, because I'm not really sure what your production process is like.

I just received my new smartcarry holster and I really like it. The order was received quickly, as well. The question I have is when I put it on around my hips as directed, I only have 4 to 5 inches of Velcro attached to itself. Do I need a larger size or is ok? I wanted to know before I used it, only to realize it is too small and wears out the elastic, etc.

I have been wearing the SmartCarry for over a month now with my H&K USP Compact 45 and believe it is the best concealed carry holster on the market. I have several other concealed carry holsters but none compare to the versatility and comfort of this product. I wear it with all types of clothing from suits to gym workout clothing (I wear it for my entire workout at least three times a week at the local Gold's Gym). I am so thankful that I saw the SmartCarry review on the U. S. Concealed Carry Association website. It is one of the best and most useful products I have ever purchased.

I just found another benefit, unexpected. MY POSTURE IS SO MUCH BETTER NOW. I stand up straight, don't slouch and my stomach mussels are tighter as unconsciously I hold my stomach in when I'm upright.

NO WAY, CAN'T WORK, DON'T BELIEVE carrying a gun "there" would ever work. Received my SmartCarry two days after ordering it, regular mail, Florida to Oregon. That in itself was unbelievable. I purchased one for a Taurus PT140 (40 cal) with 3" barrel. Been wearing it all day. IT WORKS AS ADVERTISED, WOW. I tried my S&W Airweight (.38) and it worked in the same unit. Soooo, I tried my Lama .380 (a small one). I left it in the fabric pocket holster. Yes, a holster within a holster. That made it fit in the same unit with out any problem when pulling it out.

Just wanted to let you know that my Smartcarry arrived today. I have shipped the incorrect one back in the envelope that was sent. Thank you very much for the Tuf Cloth. I have an all steel Makarov and it will come in very handy in our Missouri humidity. I know you know all about humidity where you are!! Anyway, thanks so much for everything. I bought my holster from you about a week before going on vacation. I was excited to get the holster in time to take it on my trip. I ordered a white holster for my Colt Defender and I was very impressed with the quality of the material and the stitching but I have to honest, I was a little disappointed with the fit AT FIRST! I put the Smart Carry holster on and put Colt Defender in it but I could see the print of my entire gun in about every pair of pants or shorts I tried. I was so disappointed but I thought I'd keep working with it and see if I could make it work. I found my fit. I carry my pistol very low and slightly positioned to the right. The only printing visible is the end of the pistol grip. The grip on this gun is the Hogue black rubber grips with the finger grooves so they are HUGE (a set of thin wood grips are on their way)! I do not tuck my shirts so the grip printing was covered by my shirt at all times so this was no problem. The concealment was so good, I told my wife I had my pistol concealed on me and asked her if she could see where it was at? She spotted it right away on my right side....Nope that was my love handle. The she could see it a little on my left....Nope. It was behind my back?... She had no clue. My wife was shocked to see where it was concealed! She asked if carrying my gun there safe (haha). Even after showing my wife where I was going to carry she would still ask me almost everyday if I had my gun on me.

I carried my pistol everyday while on vacation without any discomfort. I even wore it while driving in the car for 12 hours. It is the most comfortable holster I've ever used. I read that going to the bathroom with your Smart Carry is tricky but I found it not to be an issue at all. I just unzipped and pulled it over to the right and went on as I normally would. Then when finished I slid it back to the left and zipped up and went on. I even wear a belt with my Smart Carry. I don't pull it real tight but I do pull it tight enough to keep my pants from riding down. I still can draw my pistol in an acceptable time.
